Connecting in a safe and supportive environment

I want you to know that I am not just another professional with academic credentials.  I have personal experience with trauma, post-traumatic stress, loss of faith, and depression.  While I do not claim to share your unique indivual experience, I have enough like experience to empathize.

My Story

This space has grown out of my own journey through crisis and trauma.  Having found healing through poetry, meditation, and plant medicine, I have a passion for helping others.

When I retired from active duty I wasn't immediately clear on what I should do.  I worked for a High School JROTC program for a year but found that frustrating and limiting but it helped me find a vision for my real work.   This is an emerging and developing effort to connect veterans with meditation and with each other.
